Solva at Google Cloud Summit
Solva recently joined Google Cloud Summit, where our CTO, Linus Malmén, presented how we are helping a leading P&C carrier use compliant, explainable AI to support complex claims work.
From AI experimentation to real business impact
Google Cloud Summit brings together enterprise leaders, technology teams, builders, partners, and AI practitioners to discuss how cloud and AI are moving from experimentation into real-world business impact. For Solva, being part of that conversation was an important milestone.
Claims is one of the most demanding areas of insurance. Teams need to review policies, claim details, supporting documents, coverage questions, internal guidelines, and exceptions before decisions can be made. The work requires speed, but also accuracy, transparency, and human oversight.
Linus shared how Solva is being used to support this process in real insurance operations. Instead of adding another rigid workflow, our platform helps claims teams review complex information, surface relevant evidence, and understand where human judgment is needed.
That distinction is important. AI in insurance cannot be a black box, and it should not replace expert decision-making. It needs to show its work, connect conclusions back to source material, and fit into the way claims teams already operate.
Trusted AI infrastructure with Google Cloud
Taking the stage at Google Cloud Summit was also a meaningful moment in our continued partnership with Google Cloud. As insurers move from pilots to production, the infrastructure behind AI systems matters. Security, scalability, governance, and reliability are essential for real adoption.
We are grateful to Google Cloud for the partnership and for creating a forum focused on how AI can be applied responsibly in enterprise environments.
